SFX Gidgets
defeated St. Margaret's 10 to 7 in the CYO " A " semifinals, advancing
to the
Bronx
County Gidget Championship Game on Sunday Feb. 25 at Noon, Vs. St.
Frances DeChantal.
In the
semi-finals the SFX Gidgets trailed 7 to 4 entering the fourth quarter.
They outscored the previously undefeated St. Margaret's squad 6-0 in the
fourth period to complete the dramatic, upset victory. |

dominated, scoring 6 points, while
Alexa
Vitulli
and
Faith
D'Erasmo
scored 2 points each. |

With
this win the
SFX
Gidgets
also qualified
for the
State
Playoffs, which begin in
Staten
Island at the CYO MIV CENTER.
The States begin in the
1st
weekend of March. |
