| It is with most profound and painful sorrow that Pack 162
announces the passing of our beloved Carol Ann Behrendt on
September 27, 2008. Carol was the ultimate Den-Mom to all the
cub scouts who grew through the Pack. Along with her loving
husband, Scouting-Coordinator Artie, Carol dedicated her life to
the development of all the boys who were fortunate enough to
have found their way to Pack 162. With boundless love for the
Pack, a true community treasure has been lost and will be sorely
missed. However, she will never be forgotten; that would be
impossible. Carol lives on forever in the hearts, minds, and
souls of all Cub Scout Pack 162 Cubs, alumni, friends,
and associates. In honor of her memory, in appreciation for her love of our Pack, and in deep gratitude for her years of dedicated community service, Carol's legacy will live on in our Pack's new name The Pack 162 Carol Ann Behrendt Red Hawks |
