Dear Student-Athletes,

Parents, Families, Friends, Loved-Ones,

And all Members of the Hackley Community

     Welcome to the annual Hackley Football Banquet and Awards Dinner. Again, we thank all those who have lent support, and contributed to our program throughout the years.

      We extend our deepest gratitude to all those who support us in every way. This includes the Hackley faculty, Grounds Crew, those who shopped, set-up, cooked, cleaned, provided transportation, donated goods, time & talents, purchased at the concession, and traveled to home & away games to cheer our team on, etc. There are far more of you than we can list, but we sincerely thank each & every one of you.

   Go Hackley Hornets!

     We congratulate the entire 2003 team for their commitment & dedication to the hard work required to keep our program moving in a positive direction. This is especially true for our five graduating seniors. They were dealt the unenviable task of leading the way through a most difficult rebuilding year. In the face of great adversity, and in situations that would have caused panic & dissention to most, they neither faltered nor failed to set a fine example, both on & off the field. They displayed the qualities needed to learn from mistake, and build on success. More importantly, they have planted those seeds of success in the hearts & minds of those who follow. They held their heads high in defeat, and were gracious in victory. Indeed, they have opened the door to greater things to come for the freshmen, sophomores and juniors here this evening. They have held true to tradition, and diligently kindled the eternal Flame & Spirit of Hackley Hornet Football.

Next season you five will be gone, but sorely missed, and never forgotten.
