On election day when Americans vote to improve their lives and make our country a better place to live, a Bronx mom demonstrated to her children how to make their lives and their neighbors' lives sadder and more complicated.  As you can see in the video, she tries to remove a holiday ornament from a neighbor's fence, triggering the same illicit behavior from her children. Mom, what were you thinking? Blame only yourself when your children develop into troubled adults. Please set a better example for your children, they are relying on you to do so. With the holidays approaching, show them that the rewards received by  giving and making someone smile far outweigh the gratifications from receiving.

    As a Boy Scouts of America Cub Scout Leader, I have donated a significant portion of my life helping boys establish strong moral foundations on which to structure successful futures. What chance do I or other youth development leaders have to succeed when parents act as this mom did in front of their children.
